Nescafe Espresso Is My Quick and Easy Caffeine Fix

Nescafe has been making instant coffee since the 1930’s. While there is not much debate on the quality of instant versus fresh ground and brewed coffee, instant does have its place. Nescafe espresso can usually be found at your local store, or available at online retail stores. Amazon usually has pretty good deals, like this 3.5oz Nescafe Espresso instant coffee. It is quick and easy, which are the big selling points. Nescafe also make pods for the Dolce Gusto Machine. Is it worth trying? Definitely.

I love coffee and espresso. Unfortunately, I don’t always have access to a French press or an espresso machine. Sometimes you just have to settle, but that doesn’t mean you have to completely give up on taste. Nescafe espresso is pretty delicious in my opinion. I drink it at work because I have hot water, but no espresso machine (and I can’t afford to go down to the coffee shop 5 times a day.) It comes in a powder form, as opposed to some other instant coffee products that are granulated. The packaging is pretty inviting and gives it a more upscale expensive look. Fortunately, it’s not very expensive at all. Especially considering the prices at the local cafe.

Making instant Nescafe espresso is about as easy as it gets. Add a teaspoon to hot water and stir. When I have to stay at hotels, I’ll usually bring some, and use the coffee maker in the room to get hot water. I cannot stomach most of the free coffee that the hotel provides.

Nescafe Espresso Machine

There are Nescafe Dolce Gusto espresso pods, which are convenient to use, but you’ll need a special Nescafe espresso maker. They came out with the Dolce Gusta machine, which looks pretty hip and trendy. All you need to do is pop in the pod and hit the button. Again, this doesn’t help me much at work when that last hour rolls around, and I realize that I’m slouching, typing half as fast, and have lost all focus. This is great for the home though. I’m considering getting one.

So overall, I say Nescafe espresso gets a thumbs up. I’d take a shot from my local coffee shop over it, no question, but considering the price and the convenience, I like to keep some around. If I know I’m going to be somewhere I can get access to some hot water, I’ll usually bring it along (work and hotels are the big ones for me.) I drink it at home as well, but it’s mostly because I haven’t bought a machine to make espresso…. yet.
